A few years ago I visited the Helmut Newton Foundation in Berlin. I went in excited and left crying (I guess that's my Pisces rising). After watching a video of women who had worked with him, who admired him, I felt also fear in the way they spoke about him, the fear we as women all know way too well. I couldn't look at the photographs the same way afterwards. And yet, I still like them. Maybe that's why I made this series.
